The Mountain Pose:
This is a simple exercise that is done in only 2 steps. Step 1: stand up straight with your arms by your sides. Step 2: Whilst taking a deep breath, bring your arms up and your hands over your head until they are straight up, with your palms facing each other as if you are clapping your hands together.
The Warrior Pose:
Stand with your legs 3 or 4 feet apart, with your right foot in line with your body and your left foot pointing at right angles to the other foot, as if in a surfing position. Bring your hands up next to your hips and make sure that your shoulders are relaxed and then extend your arms out to the sides with your palms faced down. Bend your right leg so that your knee is joint is at a right angle, and look away, over your right hand. Breathe deeply and keep in this position for a minute. Change to the other side and do the exercise all over again.
The Seated Twist:
Sit on the floor with your legs out in front of you. Bring your right foot up to your left thigh and bring your left knee up so your foot is tucked into the v-shape created. Keeping in this position, twist your body so your left elbow is to the outer side of your right knee and your right hand is on the floor behind you. This results in a twist of the upper body. Keep it there for 4 or 5 deep breaths and then repeat the process on the other side so you get both sides of your body with the twist effect.
